New cooktop or oven going in? We’ll run or extend the line, connect it and certify it. Converting to gas hot water — including Rinnai and Rheem continuous-flow systems? That’s our bread and butter, and it pairs with our hot water changeover service. Outdoor kitchen or BBQ point on the deck? A proper bayonet fitting beats a bottle dragged across the lawn.
We also test and repair existing installations — if your gas bill has crept up or a fitting smells off, a leak test gives you a definitive answer.

I can smell gas — what do I do?
Turn the gas off at the meter or bottle, open windows and doors, don't operate light switches or anything that sparks, get everyone outside and call us from there on 0491 904 769. If the smell is strong and you can't isolate it, call emergency services first.
Can any plumber legally do gas work?
No — gas fitting requires a separate gas work licence on top of a plumbing licence. Ours is L93775. Unlicensed gas work is illegal, voids insurance and is genuinely dangerous, so always ask for the licence number.
Do you install gas cooktops and ovens?
Yes — supply the appliance you've chosen and we'll run or extend the gas line, connect it, test it and certify the installation. If the new appliance needs a bigger line than the old one, we'll tell you before we start, with the price.
Can you convert my electric hot water to gas?
In most cases, yes — if there's gas at the property we can run a line to a new gas storage or continuous-flow system. It combines with our hot water changeover service, so one visit covers the lot.
Do you do gas safety checks?
Yes. If your gas bill has crept up, a fitting smells off, or you've just bought the place and want peace of mind, we'll pressure-test the installation and give you a definitive answer on whether it's tight.
